The Brno Atelier was founded in 1991 by authorized architect Petr Hrůša. In 1992, an association was established with Ing. arch. Petr Pelčák. Since 1998, the company has undergone transformation into a limited liability company - until 2007 under the name "Architects Hrůša & Pelčák, Brno Atelier, s.r.o." In 2008, the company's name was changed to Architects Hrůša & Co., Brno Atelier, s.r.o. with managing director Petr Hrůša.
The company is an independent architectural studio, whose independence and responsibility are subject to the regulations of the Czech Chamber of Architects. It focuses exclusively on the preparation and delivery of all design work related to investment activities, including provision of author supervision, but also on the complete execution of engineering activities in relation to project work and construction realization, as well as consulting and advisory services in the preparation of buildings and investments. For foreign investors, the company regularly fulfills orders in English and German. The company’s work is regularly published in architectural publications and receives awards in architectural competitions in which the company participates.
