Hradec Králové - The reconstruction of the historically protected building of the Faculty of Education (PdF) University of Hradec Králové (UHK) in the center of Hradec Králové has so far cost 102 million crowns. The contracted price for the project is 339.4 million crowns, while savings have managed to reduce the current price of the work to 331 million crowns. The university has an agreement with the contractor that by April 30, 2025, the building must be ready for the installation of interior furnishings. "The interior furnishings are a separate delivery with preliminary costs of 20 million crowns excluding VAT," Novák said.
The completion of the construction part of the project is scheduled for June 9, 2025, and by June 30, the furnishings will be installed. "This is to ensure that users can move in during the summer months of 2025, and teaching for the winter semester of the academic year 2025/2026 can begin," Novák added.
