Immediately after graduating from the Faculty of Architecture at the Czech Technical University in 1994, doc. Ing. arch. Boris Redčenkov (*1969) and Ing. arch. Prokop Tomášek (*1969) founded ATELIER 69 - ARCHITECTS. In 1997, doc. Ing. arch. Jaroslav Wertig (*1969) became a partner. In 2003, ATELIER 69 - ARCHITECTS transformed into A69 - architekti s.r.o.
All three architects share not only the year of birth but also the ambition to create authorial architecture that responds to the place, time, and circumstances of its origin.
During its existence, the studio has completed dozens of realizations and hundreds of projects of all scales, sizes, and typological types. In addition to designing and implementing buildings, the members of the studio engage in publishing, popularization, and educational activities.
