He graduated from the Secondary Technical School of Construction in Opava and subsequently from VUT Brno, Faculty of Architecture. From 1994 to 1998, he worked at the architectural office Burian-Křivinka in Brno. In 1999, he founded the atelier ATX architekti s.r.o. together with Tomáš Beránek and Rostislav Jakubec, where he worked until 2007. He then established his own architectural office together with Eva Eichlerová, under the name EA architekti s.r.o. since January 2010.
