After graduating from a secondary school of construction, he studied at the Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Architecture. Since 2002, he has been intensively involved in the area of housing, particularly timber constructions. In 2002, together with Pavel Horák, he initially founded the architectural and design studio PRODESI, where the DOMESI timber construction system was developed. Later, the company DOMESI was established, specializing in the realization of timber constructions based on the designs of both architects. Both companies strive to promote the idea of timber constructions as a modern and ecological way of building. Václav Zahradníček has collaborated, exhibited, and lectured at both previous editions of the Timber Constructions Salon exhibition. Some of the studio's realizations have been published in professional press.
