FUTURA FREESTYLE won 1st place in the House of the Year 2014 competition
Futura Freestyle was awarded in the House of the Year 2014 competition, which has been organized for the nineteenth year by the publishing house Business Media and the magazine Můj Dům. In the evaluation by the expert jury, it competed with another 25 projects and won 1st place in the category of model houses.
The concept of the Futura Freestyle house was created four years ago. Under the name Domesi Concept House, this house is built in the village of Pulečný in the Liberec region. Those interested in living in a modern wooden building can spend a weekend or holiday in it to experience its comfort and ergonomic adjustment.
The "Freestyle," as the authors affectionately call it, is a house for those who have not compromised on the comfort of modern living and design even in a model house. This house is about multifunctional space and can serve as a family or weekend home.
The supporting structure of the house is built using CLT technology (cross-laminated timber) in the form of massive wooden panels. The house is designed for 3 – 4 people with a layout of 3+kk and a usable area of 76.5m2. Thanks to the II.NP platform, the usable area can be expanded up to 108m2 (4+kk). The entire house is maximally open and connected to the exterior while also providing the necessary privacy.
