Prague's Žižkov is currently one of the most dynamically developing neighborhoods. Industrial properties, which were previously concentrated in Žižkov, have lost their function in their original locations. In the best case, they will find another use, and in the worst, they will be allowed to deteriorate. The addressed place on the street is a case of the latter, with the existence of the former factory for essential oils Schimmel Co now only marked by an almost thirty-meter tall chimney and the office building of the factory's employees, now serving as apartments. However, the place is truly unique, situated in a line of houses along Husitská and Koněvova streets, forming the boundary between the world of Vítkovský park and the city. The back part of the Husitská blocks has experienced significant changes in recent years. The railway tracks have been transformed into a bike path. The houses no longer need to defend this space, as they did in the past—with trees or walls in some places. I propose a building at this location that opens up to the path and encourages pause. On a bike, you can ride into the buffet, or leave your bike and descend via stairs around the chimney to the restaurant. The complex of hostels offers complete facilities for cycling tours around Prague.
