The sliding system Schüco ASE 80 allows the realization of large glazed areas up to 3.5 meters in height.
The increased construction depth of the new sliding system Schüco ASE 80 has significantly improved its thermal insulation properties, so that in combination with glazing of insulating glass thickness up to 60 mm, it achieves values at the level of a passive house. Architects and investors will be attracted by the aluminum sliding system Schüco ASE 80 for its barrier-free design, the aesthetics of slender frames, and the fact that it has already received the Red Dot Design Award 2018. Processors will also benefit from the modularity of the system, which significantly speeds up manufacturing and installation. More at www.schueco.cz

Outdoor frame with drainage groove
The sliding system Schüco ASE 80 (basic construction depth 80 mm) for terraces or winter gardens with a frame equipped with 1, 2, or 3 tracks allows the realization of large glazed areas up to 3.5 meters in height and a leaf weight of up to 350 kg. Next year, this limit is expected to increase to 500 kg. The leaves can be sliding or sliding with a lift. In addition to the standard series, the Schüco ASE 80 sliding system also offers the Design Line series with very narrow visible profile widths of only 40 mm. A barrier-free construction is also available, ideal for easier access to, for example, a terrace. The hidden groove for the fittings means that the components of the fittings and the insulation foam are no longer visible. For the high thermal insulation parameters required at the level of passive houses, the Schüco ASE 80.HI system is available, which allows the use of insulating glass with a thickness of up to 60 mm.

Comfortable operation with Schüco SmartStop and SmartClose technologies

Of course, comfortable operation is provided - thanks to the installation of Schüco SmartStop and Schüco SmartClose technologies, which ensure very easy and safe operation of the sliding door leaves. The Schüco SmartStop technology softly but effectively slows down the moving leaf of the sliding door with lift and subsequently, when retracted into the installation frame, enhances their safety. Schüco SmartStop can alternatively be used with lift sliding systems where a higher level of safety is required.

In the sliding-lifting versions of the Schüco ASE 80 system, two additional enhancements assist in lifting and lowering the leaves. During lifting, the movement is supported by integrated spring assistance, while during closing and seating, both the leaf and the handle are dampened simultaneously. In the future, the use of mechatronic fittings Schüco TipTronic is planned, enabling automatic operation.

The modular sliding system Schüco ASE 80 allows for a variety of insulation, design, and functionality options.

Depending on the fittings used, the new Schüco ASE 80 system can be either sliding or sliding with lift, which greatly simplifies the processing. The system reliably closes into locking pins mounted in the frame. Depending on the construction, the system's resistance to burglary can reach up to class RC 2, and this can be operated with one hand. Those who appreciate a clean and puristic design when the leaf is fully opened can choose the option where the locking pins are integrated into the leaf. The symmetrical solution of the fitting groove allows for a balanced distribution of the weight of the moving leaf, ensuring optimal operational properties and easy handling.

Quick manufacturing with prefabricated parts

Utilizing prefabricated components makes manufacturing faster and simpler. For example, there are plastic profiles with integrated sealing and frames with prepared drainage grooves. Corners can be joined either with pins or screws. The upper guiding profile of the leaf snaps directly into the frame and is secured with significantly fewer screws than before. Compared to the previous system ASS 70.HI, the manufacturing time for a type 1A portal (one fixed and one moving leaf) is reduced by up to 15%.
