In apartments and residential buildings, amazing views are preserved even when the Schüco ZIP Design Screen textile screens are retracted.

At the BAU 2019 construction fair in Munich, Schüco introduced a new outdoor textile sunshade, the Schüco ZIP Design Screen, which prevents the harsh sunlight and heat from entering the interiors of residential and commercial buildings, while not restricting residents' views at all. Thanks to the side tracks integrated into the profiles of Schüco’s window and façade systems, the Schüco ZIP Design Screen is secured so firmly that it reliably withstands tearing even at wind speeds of up to 25 m/s. This corresponds to the 9th to 10th degree on the Beaufort scale, which indicates a strong gale that can even uproot trees. www.schueco.cz

Maintaining contact with the outside world is one of the advantages of the Schüco ZIP Design Screen textile screens.

The new outdoor shading Schüco ZIP Design Screen is not only an aesthetic but also a practical solution, ensuring thermal comfort by significantly reducing heat build-up in building interiors during sunny days. The screens are made from weather-resistant textiles in various designs, as well as materials with fire resistance up to class B1. Depending on the chosen fabric, a level of transparency between 0 to 14% can be achieved, allowing for complete darkness or preserving contact with the outside world even when the screens are fully lowered. This holds true even on windy days, as the screens can withstand wind speeds at levels 9 to 10 on the Beaufort scale. This is achieved through the side guiding tracks, which are integrated into the profile and prevent the screen from tearing due to strong gusts of wind. Additionally, the Schüco ZIP Design Screen can detect obstacles when being raised or lowered.

Extensive areas of façades resistant to strong winds can be equipped with equally resilient textile roller systems, Schüco ZIP Design Screen.

Designer shading for existing and new window and façade systems

The Schüco ZIP Design Screen sun protection, with its smooth fabric appearance, creates a homogeneous look for the façade, and a single piece of the screen can be up to 18 m² in size. The shading is suitable for various Schüco window or façade systems, including the new aluminum façades Schüco UDC 80 (Unitised Dynamic Construction, visible width 80 mm), the new window system AWS 75 PD.SI (aluminum window system with panoramic design), and the proven window system AWS 75.SI. The Schüco Zip Design Screen system is delivered prefabricated - rolled up and ready for installation into a hidden roller box. For AWS window systems, it is already equipped with additional thermal insulation. The weight of the screen is minimal, and the installation is quick and easy.

The range of sun protection systems by Schüco is very extensive; in addition to the new Schüco ZIP Design Screen, it includes, for example, the outdoor sunshade Schüco CSB (Concealed Shaped Blind) in the form of an aluminum slat roller, the Schüco exterior sunshade system CTB with high wind resistance for windows and façades, or the system of sliding shutters ALB.

Schüco ZIP Design Screen shades can be perfectly integrated into new Schüco UDC 80 façade systems, also presented at the BAU 2019 construction fair in Munich.
