For perfect alignment of all door and window fittings in the interior, three handles that connect to already established collections of fittings have been included in the collection of handles designed for the new Magnetic door control system...

The individual models from the handle collection for Magnetic are always prepared in several surface finishes to unify with the surface of the doors and the interior – from various variants of natural brass to titanium surfaces. "However, in order for the door and window fittings to be uniform throughout the interior and thus perfectly coordinated, we have also included the MINIMAL, MAXIMAL, and MIMOLIMIT models in the collection of handles for Magnetic. They derive their appearance and shape from our comprehensive collections, which include not only handles for hinged doors but also handles, fittings for fully glass door leaves, and even window handles," says Roman Ulich, the chief designer of the Magnetic system and designer at M&T, the only Czech manufacturer of designer door and window fittings.

MINIMAL

The MINIMAL handle follows the comprehensive collection of minimalist door and window fittings MINIMAL, awarded with the RED DOT. Its material base is made of solid brass. The handle extends 40 mm above the surface of the door leaf and its dimensions are 33 x 297 mm (width x length).

MAXIMAL

The MAXIMAL handle follows the comprehensive collection of door and window fittings MAXIMAL, awarded with the RED DOT. Its construction allows for the insertion of a selectable infill into the visible area for perfect coordination or, conversely, a striking contrast with the surface of the doors. It is made of solid brass. The handle extends 40 mm above the surface of the door leaf and its dimensions are 33 x 297 mm (width x length).

MIMOLIMIT

The MIMOLIMIT handle is composed of a metal inner structure made of solid brass and a wooden gripping part, for which five different types of wood can be selected. The handle extends 61 mm above the surface of the door and its width is 24 mm. It is produced in lengths of 340, 640, 940, 1240, 1840, and 2440 mm.

What is Magnetic?

The new M&T magnetic system operates on the principle of very strong magnets placed in the door frame and their counterpart made of magnetic stainless steel embedded in the door leaf. When both parts are brought close together, the magnetic force gently and almost silently closes the door without the projection of any bolt element. The closed door leaf is firmly held in the frame solely by magnetic force. The strength of the magnets can be easily and intuitively adjusted using a small hex key.
