Winy Maas: The New Old - lecture at Art cinema

Winy Maas: architect and educator, founder of the international office MVRDV and significant think-tank The Why Factory (TU Delft).
The lecture titled The New Old will be prepared specifically for Brno and the Faculty of Architecture at VUT. It arose from the informal collaboration between Winy Maas and the Institute of Experimental Creation on the project to transform the building Centraal Beheer in Apeldoorn (an iconic building by architect Herman Hertzberger).
During the lecture, we can also look forward to a personal commentary on the project Moravian Jewish Museum Mehrin, developed by the office MVRDV.
Winy Maas's lectures are never just a presentation of projects, but always have a broader context and are always an important voice in the discussion about architecture, urbanism, and the world. One of the most important topics that constantly appears in these lectures is the work with climate change and the responsibilities that arise from this change for the work of architects and urbanists.

The lecture will be conducted in English.
