<Pardubice> today will begin an expensive reconstruction of <trida>Míru</trida>

Pardubice - Pardubice today, after years of preparations, will begin the reconstruction of Třída Míru, one of the main shopping streets in the city. The town hall obtained most of the 120 million crowns needed for the repairs from European grants. After a year of construction work, the street will become partially a pedestrian zone.
    The most challenging will likely be the replacement of outdated engineering networks. The new installations are expected to last 20 to 30 years without major repairs. Following that, the surfaces of the sidewalks and the road will be replaced with paving, benches will be added to the street, and more trees will be planted. The reconstruction also includes the modification of Sladkovského street towards Sukova třída.
    The city received approximately 85 million crowns from European grants for the repair of Třída Míru.
