Four months of intense work. Semester and final assignments. Designing, consultations, discussions. And the result of all this will be presented to you by Artsemestr. Artsemestr, a school-wide presentation of all studios at UMPRUM.
Artsemestr is a regular showcase of semester and final projects by UMPRUM students, where everyone presents the results of their academic efforts at the end of each semester. Its tradition, as we know it today, began in 2004 thanks to the decision of then-rector Prof. Jiří Pelcl. Students exhibit their work in the authentic environment of the school – in studios, classrooms, and sometimes even in hallways.
The topics, approaches, techniques, and other forms of processing offer an endless variety. UMPRUM aims to prepare its students as well as possible for practice. This is also reflected in the assigned topics and the increasing collaboration with various institutions or manufacturing companies. In this semester, we can mention, for example, the city of Hradec Králové, companies Škoda Auto and VW, Baťa, MIKOV, RIM, and many others who are direct clients or provide their technologies and production facilities. This way, students receive the best opportunity to prepare for their independent application.
