The subject of the competition is the preparation of an architectural proposal for the revitalization of the Dominican monastery in Cheb, related to Jánské náměstí. The goal of the competition is to rehabilitate the space of this historically valuable monument for the needs of the 21st century. The most suitable purpose for the use of the monastery was evaluated as relocating the Jindřich Jindřich School of Arts into its premises. The revitalization of the monastery also includes appropriately enhancing the adjacent area, particularly the territory of Jánské náměstí and Kamenná and Dominikánská streets.

The winner of the competition will automatically be included among the candidates for the Petr Parléř Award 2014, the awarding of which will be decided by the Evaluation Board on March 18, 2015.

Site visit will take place on January 14, 2015. The commentary will be provided by PhDr. Tomáš Dostál. The meeting of participants is at 11:00 AM at the reception of the City Hall of Cheb, náměstí Krále Jiřího z Poděbrad 1/14, 350 20 Cheb.
