About the Company

LD Seating began in 1993 as a small chair manufacturer in Boskovice, Czech Republic - a small town with a textile tradition. Today, LD Seating produces 400 chairs daily with distribution worldwide. The emerging second generation of this family business continues to develop comfortable, ergonomic, and stylish chairs for offices, schools, healthcare facilities, hotels, and private residences.

About Production

Decades of experience fine-tune the production process, combining state-of-the-art technology with honest craftsmanship. The sewing team prides itself on millimeter precision, while in the upholstery workshop, the chair cover is stretched without a single wrinkle. At LD Seating, they fill the chairs with polyurethane foam and manufacture their own steel bases, inserts for shell construction, and other steel accessories. In the powder coating facility, the designs of the chairs are tailored to customer specifications.

About Design

To meet the demands of the most discerning customers, LD Seating collaborates with designers from around the world. Cooperation with names such as Andreas Krob, Orlandini Design, Martin Foret, Martin Ballendat, Baldanzi & Novelli, and Filip Streit has resulted in numerous awards. In 2022, for example, they received the Red Dot award in the category of Product Design 2022 – Home And Seating Furniture, the BigSEE Wood Design Award 2022, and the Furniture of the Year 2022.
