Assignment - Pavilion in the center of Liberec
Even small interventions can fundamentally transform relatively large areas.
Even minor structures can enhance life in a given location.
Even simple objects can become a magnet for the surrounding area.

Take the town hall tower at Beneš Square as the center point and draw a circle with a radius of one kilometer around it. This will define the area of your intervention into the urban structure, which should aim to improve the designated parcel.
Look for poorly utilized or unused places with hidden potential, which you will try to analyze more deeply.
Minor objects should fulfill a function that corresponds to the given location. Currently, there may be a lack of them, or the current state may be poorly addressed.
There are no limits to external dimensions or internal content. However, they should not appear inappropriate or excessively parasitic to their surroundings. On the contrary, they should provide a clear and meaningful response that will appropriately fit into the chosen environment.

Solution - Herb Garden in Liberec
The neglected garden located on Frýdlantská Street has a beautifully mysterious atmosphere, which is marred by the untidiness of the place and a dilapidated building at the forefront. In the garden grows a noteworthy tree that adds charm to the place. The street itself feels very pleasant. The pathway is lined with pharmacies, restaurants, flower shops, and a store selling organic food. The atmosphere and the composition of the shops guided me in developing my proposal.
I proposed an herbal shop for the garden. (health + food + old pleasant atmosphere -> herbs) I wanted to integrate my intervention into the garden as gently as possible. Therefore, I circled the tree standing "in the middle" with a dynamic curve and only utilized the area adjacent to the built environment. The sloped plane invites passersby to relax (pleasant seating in the aroma of the herbs that grow around it). The area I used for the project will be replaced by a green roof, which will compensate for the built-up part of the garden. The roof will also serve to grow more resilient herbs. The herbal shop operates self-service (this way, customers have a better contact with the offered goods). The large interior space serves for selling live herbs.
The herbal shop is one of the oldest forms of healing, and many people turn to it today as an alternative method.

Assignment - Row House in Boskovice
The hectic migration to cities is abating. Living in rural areas in anonymous satellite developments is no longer so lucrative. People long for a quiet environment with character. Thanks to the returning successful individuals who do not measure quality of life solely in financial terms, the fate of small towns need not be sealed.

The town of Boskovice, with a population of eleven thousand and a history dating back to the 13th century, lies between Blansko and Brno. Since 1990, the historical core has been under heritage protection. The southern edge of the Jewish ghetto today consists of a tucked-away street called Pod Klášterem, characterized on one side by not very valuable temporary structures and on the other side benefiting from a beautiful view into the garden of the Boskovice Castle.
The task is to create a new northern line of the street Pod Klášterem, composed of row houses for diverse clients, with a firmly defined building line, cornice height, and overall buildable area.

Solution - What Happens Behind the Wall or a House for Nature Lovers
This house is designed for a couple of nature lovers. I divided the land in half, utilizing 50% as living space and 50% as a garden. The living area (80m²) was divided into individual rooms, which I then placed within the garden. They descend together with the terrain. The height difference is 1.5m. The rooms are arranged as practically as possible. Each room is connected to the outdoor space with a sliding window. From the street, this house appears to be an unused lot behind a large wall. The large wall is part of the house. The house does not start with an entrance hall, but with a garden.
