New wooden floors Ground Collection: Designed by nature, manufactured by Kährs

The trend of bringing a piece of nature into our homes is getting stronger, and this demand is met by five decors from the three-layer wooden floor collection Kährs Ground Collection, stained in timeless, subtle tones and colors found in nature – from white chalk and corals to warm sandy tones and darker shades of clay and earth. Thus, in earthy colors that are more color-rich than just classic oak in its natural shade. All of this again in smaller 3-lamella formats, which have recently diminished in favor of larger formats. A matte finish is a trend and a necessity for all five decors of the new collection. "It is a return to 3-lamella floors, which disappeared from the range in the past because manufacturers focused on large formats and the offer in 3-lamella floors was not extensive," confirms Aleš Viktorin, regional sales manager of Kratochvíl parket profi (KPP), the exclusive distributor of Kährs in our country.

Ash Coral appeals with its modern yet very classic design, the surface is stained in the tone of white corals and Caribbean beaches.

Oak Chalk is a subtly bleached floor that evokes the limestone-white walls of Mediterranean houses.

The sandy shade of Oak Sand will transport you to the Sahara Desert. The natural light tone fits into any interior, enhancing the warmth of home.

Oak Clay is a wooden floor stained in a gray to autumn hue that resembles raw clay in all its beauty.

The rich brown tone of Oak Seed will inspire you to ignite wood in the fireplace, yet the darkest from the Kährs Ground Collection still remains a shade in the middle stream.

"They selected the best-selling shades, in the past there were floors that were almost black or impractically bright white, that is behind us now. At the same time, however, these are not just ordinary natural oaks and ashes, but beautiful shades inspired by the whole of nature," evaluates Aleš Viktorin from KPP.

The thickness of the three-layer wooden floors is "only" 13 mm, which is made possible by modern manufacturing technologies, the aim of maximizing ecological yield from wood, and the economic aspect. Thanks to lower prices, these wooden floors are thus approaching, for example, modern mineral SPC coverings. Of course, they feature the Woodloc 5G locking system and color-coordinated skirtings and other accessories.

Compliance with nature is also confirmed for the new collection by the ecological certificate The Nordic Swan Ecolabel. Its awarding is conditioned on at least 50% of the weight of all raw materials (virgin/recycled material) used in the floor coming from forest management certified according to FSC or PEFC systems or from recycled material. At the same time, the floor must guarantee low emissions and a high-quality indoor environment. The Nordic Swan Ecolabel certificate places demands on the quality and functionality of the product and is one of the most comprehensive and strictest product certifications in the world.
