Helena Čapková: Bedřich Feuerstein and Japanese Architecture

Art historian and Japanologist Helena Čapková is among the leading experts on the work of architect and scenographer Bedřich Feuerstein. She has been living in Japan for a long time, where she works at Kyoto University.
In her lecture in Nymburk, she will introduce the current exhibition at the National Technical Museum, which presents the life and fascinating scope of Feuerstein's work. For the first time, his work in architecture, scenography, theatrical costume, and graphic, applied, and furniture design is being presented in a comprehensive form.
