On Thursday, April 27, 2017, at 7:00 PM, there will be a final panel discussion in the series Architecture and Environment, this time on the topic of Digital Environment, held at the café Trojka, Dominikánská 9 in Brno. The guests of the evening will be MgA. Ing. arch. Ján Pernecký and MSc Arch. Martin Kaftan Ph.D. The discussion will be moderated by Ing. arch. MArch. Jiří Vítek and Ing. arch. Albert Novák. Analysis, simulation, fabrication, optimization, and nonlinear methods allow for immediate feedback in the design process. The discussion will focus on the influence and shift of the architectural paradigm due to technological development, which not only enables the integration of new concepts but also introduces entirely new domains of architecture, such as virtual and augmented reality.
Ján Pernecký (*1982) studied architecture in Vienna at Angewandte, Academy of Fine Arts and Design, in Bratislava at the Faculty of Architecture STU, and at Arkitekturskolan KTH in Stockholm. As a lecturer and educator, he works at universities in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, Austria, and Italy.
