atakarchitekti (*2010 Liberec), also known as aťák, is an architectural studio founded in Liberec in 2010 by collaborating architects Jiří Janďourek and Jana Medlíková. We focus on architecture in scales ranging from custom furniture to interiors, new buildings, renovations, and urbanism. We provide comprehensive services from initial conceptual considerations, sketches, and models, through the project for zoning approval and building permit to the execution project including author supervision during construction. Our goal is to create authorial architecture that simultaneously contains the individuality of the client and the authenticity of the place. For us, architecture is not just about design; we often travel for architecture, write about it, teach, and strive to be civically active in this field. More information >
