Selection procedures for heads of departments at the Faculty of Architecture CTU

The Dean of the Faculty of Architecture at CTU in Prague, Thákurova 9, Prague 6, announces a selection process for the positions of heads of departments – academic staff (professors or associate professors, or professional assistants *):

1. Department of Civil Engineering I (Ú 15123)
2. Department of Industrial Design (Ú 15150)
3. Department of Art Creation (Ú 15111) with teaching VT for all fields of FA.

Start Date:
ad 1) from 1 July 2014, ad 2) and 3) from 1 September 2014.


Requirements:
- master's degree in the field
- appointment as a professor or associate professor in the field (*for candidates without these titles, prerequisites for starting the habilitation process after appointment)
- managerial and organizational skills
- min. 5 years of professional experience in the field, professional qualities
- active knowledge of at least one world language  
- integrity, prerequisites for performing the function according to Act No. 451/1991 Coll.

Candidates should send along with their application:
- a written concept for the development of the department
- a structured professional CV with an overview of managerial, professional, creative, and pedagogical activities
- samples of several key works
- verified copies of documents on higher education and obtained scientific-pedagogical titles
- a copy of the criminal record excerpt.

Documents according to Act No. 451/1991 Coll. will be submitted by invited candidates during the selection process. Applications with the requested materials should be sent within 30 days of the publication to: CTU in Prague - Faculty of Architecture, Human Resources Department - selection procedure, Thákurova 9, 166 34 Prague 6. The announcement of the selection process was published in the nationwide edition of MF Dnes on Tuesday, April 22, 2014. The last day for sending applications is Thursday, May 22, 2014.
