Prague - Prague has a final version of the agreement with the landowners necessary for the construction of the metro station D Nádraží Krč. On Monday, the Prague councilors are expected to approve it. This follows from the agenda of the council meeting. The ownership of the land does not change by the agreement. The so-called initial agreement will allow the transportation company (DPP) to use the land for the construction of the metro, and the owners will get to build in the vicinity of the planned station. A similar agreement was already made by the city in the case of the Nemocnice Krč station. Metro D will run from Pankrác to Písnice, and DPP plans to start geological surveys this year.

After signing the agreement, both parties will still need to finalize the exact wording and subsequently sign the so-called partial contracts. These will specify the rights and obligations of the contracting parties. The contracts will also address the withdrawal of the lawsuit to annul the zoning decision, which private owners filed a few years ago.

According to the document that the councilors will discuss and which is available to ČTK, the agreement will be valid for ten years. During this time, all contracts and details of cooperation are to be resolved.

Private owners wish to build several buildings around the planned station. In the northern part between the Jižní spojka and the V Podzámčí street, as well as along the railway line, residential buildings and administrative offices are to be situated. The hotel part is then intended by the owners for the western part of the area, while a park with water features will be located in the central part.

Due to the expropriation of land, a plan to create a joint venture with the Penta group emerged under the previous political representation. The agreement was ultimately not realized. The current city leadership does not reject cooperation with private investors, but it does not intend to carry out the original plan.

In the first phase, the metro section Pankrác - Olbrachtova is to be developed. Subsequently, the construction will be extended to the planned stop Nové Dvory. Lastly, the route from Nové Dvory to the final station Depo Písnice will be established in the southern direction. In addition to the section from Pankrác to Písnice, metro D will also run from Pankrác to náměstí Míru. A decision on the construction of this part of the route has not yet been made. The new line will feature driverless trains.
