Pardubice - Pardubice entrepreneur Miloš Holeček will probably not have to demolish his villa, which he built without a building permit and in violation of the zoning plan. According to the court's decision, he was supposed to remove it by the end of September, but the city council agreed last week to initiate changes to the zoning plan, including his land. The building authority will also wait for demolition for now, reports Mladá fronta Dnes (MfD) in its supplement for the Pardubice region. The promise of a zoning plan change does not have a suspensive effect; the building authority is expected to start taking steps leading to the demolition of the house within a week. However, they have decided not to rush into it. "It would be a waste of public resources, given that the situation is moving towards a change," said the head of the building authority, Jiří Vopršal. He added that while his office will officially initiate enforcement against the house, it will promptly comply with Holeček's request to suspend it. The enforcement will be paused for the duration of the decision-making regarding the new zoning plan.
