Galerie Jaroslava Fragnera & Fránek Architects are pleased to invite you to the opening of the exhibition Zdeněk Fránek: Measure & Scale on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at 7 PM at Galerie Jaroslava Fragnera, Betlémské náměstí 5a, Prague 1. The exhibition will be open until July 24, 2016, daily except Mondays from 11 AM to 7 PM.
How contemporary architecture touches the public will be documented by the exhibition Fránek Architects: Measure and Scale at the Gallery of Jaroslav Fragner in Prague. The leading domestic studio will present its profile projects from recent times: the Skywalk observation tower in Dolní Morava, the Face House residential building study in Prague, and the energy self-sufficient Liko Noe object. Despite differing typologies, constructions, or technologies, all three projects share an extraordinary level of intervention and involvement. They confront the public and pose questions that abstract from the discipline of architecture itself. They shift and define the measure of tolerance, imagination, and empathy. The exhibition itself addresses the perception of viewers and users through its interactive approach, based on the intense perception of space and the environment of the buildings.
