Biography
Mauricio Pezo obtained his master's degree at the Catholic University of Chile (Santiago, 1998) and continued his studies in architecture at the University of Bio-Bio (Concepción, 1999). He is a visual artist and the director of Movimento Artista del sur (Mas). He teaches at the School of Architecture at the University of Bio-Bio and at the University of Las Americas in Concepción. He has guest lectured at the University of Talca (Talca, 2005-) and at the Andrés Bello University (Santiago, 2006). At the University of Bio-Bio, he received the CA Prize (1999), and the Award for Best Young Chilean Architects from the Chilean Architectural Association (Santiago, 2006).
