The manufacturer of sauerkraut, Herbert Lechner AG from Laas, Italy, along with the architectural firm Marx / Ladurner from South Tyrol, decided on an individual design for the facade of the new commercial building.

The building is characterized by individuality and efficient energy use thanks to the materials used: concrete, wood, and glass. A wooden facade is used on the western side of the building, and a visible concrete facade is on its southern side. Architect Elke Ladurner designed an individual facade corresponding to the building's character. This resulted in a structure resembling a head of sauerkraut on the visible wall.

The company RECKLI used a CAD file to create a model with a CNC milling machine. Subsequently, an elastic polyurethane matrix was produced, which was used in the manufacturing of prefabricated elements measuring 3.30 x 7.86 m. The basic thermal insulation is located on the inner wall of the outer thermal concrete wall. A total of 197 thermal concrete elements were installed on the facade.

RECKLI's matrices helped realize the creative architectural design of the individual visible structure on the facade.
