Twinson O-Terrace+ is a composite material ideal for large areas

Composite materials made from wood and plastic are designed for outdoor use. Due to the good properties of both of its components and its durability and resistance to weather conditions, they are recommended for use on outdoor terraces, marina docks, pool cladding, or even as façade solutions. Let's take a closer look at a representative of composite material, Twinson O-Terrace+, offered by Deceuninck.

The O-Terrace+ system is made from Twinson material, which combines the advantages of both basic components, namely PVC and rapidly growing wood certified by PEFC. It consists of 50% PVC and 50% wood. The Twinson building material combines the benefits of advanced technology with the warm feeling of natural materials. It is robust and elegant. Its advantages also include minimal maintenance requirements.

The composite terrace system Twinson O-Terrace+ represents a premium solution for larger commercially utilized areas, such as mentioned terraces at hotels, areas in public swimming pools, golf courses, or as marina docks, etc.

Twinson material, and thus Twinson O-Terrace+, is free of any splinters and does not splinter. It is characterized by water resistance, has a non-slip surface, does not warp or crack, and is 100% recyclable. The boards are very strong and resistant to mold, pests, or wood-decaying fungi. Unlike wooden boards, they are maintenance-free, i.e., they do not require oil soaking or replacement of rotted or otherwise damaged parts.

The tongue-and-groove system prevents small objects from falling through, yet there is still enough space between the boards for water drainage and ventilation. Twinson O-Terrace+ has high load-bearing capacity and impact resistance. Thanks to the new "snap-in" system "clip & slide", which requires minimal use of screws, installation is easier, and individual boards can be easily and quickly replaced. Twinson O-Terrace+ is the only product on the market of composite terrace systems that has aluminum supporting base profiles. This new substructure and the increased strength of the boards allow for an expansion of the distance between support beams from the standard 50 cm to 60 cm. Thus, installation is faster, which is advantageous for large commercial areas. Moreover, the risk of deformation is eliminated thanks to the integrated clip between the boards, which absorbs any expansion. The supporting aluminum profiles allow for installation even on unpaved substrates. The use of Twinson O-Terrace+ is therefore also ideal for technical structures such as bridges or walkways.

Twinson O-Terrace+ is available in 8 color shades, which can easily be matched with the surrounding furniture. Deceuninck also offers a second variant of the system, Twinson O-Terrace intended for smaller areas, i.e., for terraces at family homes, around garden pools, or walkways and steps, but also for other smaller garden structures.
