The woven vinyl 2tec2, designed by a family company in Belgium and imported to us by Kratochvíl parket profi, is an elegant flooring made from bio materials, fully recyclable, waterproof, slip-resistant, hypoallergenic, antistatic, and boasts shape stability and color fastness thanks to the dyed fibers. It is suitable for residential and demanding commercial spaces, such as restaurants or healthcare institutions.

The exclusive 3D surface of woven vinyl 2tec2 with a medium coarse structure evokes the look of woven textiles while retaining all the advantages of vinyl. "It is a great material, specific due to its structure and production technology, suitable for demanding commercial spaces. It is primarily the design that attracts with woven vinyl. We can create a color-uniform surface, or by rotating the tiles change the shade and create, for example, a checkerboard. It’s probably not a material that one would choose themselves; rather, an architect would suggest it," presents the flooring Aleš Viktorin, regional sales manager of Kratochvíl parket profi.

Unlike carpets, woven vinyl 2tec2 does not fray, is waterproof and has good slip-resistant properties, allowing it to be used in wet bathrooms, spas, or healthcare facilities. The glass fibers coated with vinyl are tightly woven together and then pressed into the lower layer under heat, so there is no space between them for dirt or pebbles to settle; coffee or red wine will not soak into the floor. This also eliminates expansion and guarantees the shape stability of the flooring. The structure of the floor prevents dust particles from becoming airborne, as the top layer captures dust and dirt, allowing for efficient cleaning with a vacuum and water – unlike regular carpets, they can be easily vacuumed.

Woven vinyl 2tec2 retains its color even when exposed to sunlight. This is because the vinyl yarns are dyed all the way to the core. The floors are also resistant to disinfectants, which are necessary in healthcare. The intensity of the yarn color is not affected even after years of maintenance, making them suitable for spas, gyms, or healthcare facilities where hygiene demands are high. This highly durable flooring is classified in load class 33, making it suitable even for the most heavily used commercial spaces. It is antistatic, suitable for underfloor heating and cooling, and excellently absorbs space and footstep noise by up to 80% thanks to the bottom felt layer.

Woven vinyl 2tec2 is made from bio materials, so it is completely recyclable. It has Indoor Air Comfort Gold and FloorScore certification, meaning it does not release any harmful emissions.
