The Czech Award for Architecture is a competitive exhibition organized by the Czech Chamber of Architects. The intention of the CKA in holding this prestigious exhibition is to promote the quality results of work by both established and emerging architects to the public. The jury evaluates the submitted projects annually not only from the perspective of their aesthetic and technical quality but primarily in the context of their creation, relationship to the environment, and social contribution. The partner of the Czech Award for Architecture for the year 2022 was Hager.

On June 23, 2022, a magnificent Nomination Evening of the 7th year of the Czech Award for Architecture took place in the Valdštejn Garden, where the chamber announced 29 works that were nominated by the international jury for the prestigious selection from 201 submitted buildings. The name of the main award winner and other finalists will be revealed to the public in November 2022 at a gala evening at Forum Karlín. According to the jury, the architect has indelibly etched her name in the history of Czech architecture and has also left her visible mark on world architecture.

Partnership between Hager and the Czech Award for Architecture

Support for quality architecture is a logical step on the part of Hager, as design has long played a vital role for the company. In addition to more than sixty years of tradition and premium quality, Hager has always placed great importance not only on the functionality and safety of its products but also on their appearance. Whether it is distribution cabinets, window sill channels, and systems for cable management, multifunctional office columns, or door communication devices, the internal team of industrial designers, along with frequent collaboration with external designers and architects, has already reaped various awards, including the RedDot Award. The flagship design of Hager is represented by the berker switches, which collect design awards and recognition from architects and interior designers around the world. The director of the Office of the Czech Chamber of Architects, Dagmar Mošnerová, also praises the partnership: "Our organization also selects partners from first-class companies, so the connection between the Hager brand and the Czech Award for Architecture is a logical, seamless step," concludes Dagmar Mošnerová.
