Windows from Slavona are generally known as products with excellent thermal insulation properties and an elegant appearance. Thanks to innovations and the development of window structures, to which Slavona devotes great attention, it can offer customers products with added value in the form of timeless design, long-term durability, and minimal maintenance requirements. These are the main reasons why windows from Slavona are so popular in the construction of modern homes.

When we say wooden window, most of us imagine a classic Euro window with insulating double or triple glazing, with a visually wide frame and a sturdy drip cap. In the case of windows from Slavona, however, it is necessary to clarify this concept somewhat. The company currently offers windows in six profile series, which differ in several essential characteristics.

In 2012, Slavona launched the production of a completely new window design called Progression. Among all the profiles offered, Progression is distinguished by the best thermal insulation properties, allowing it to boast classification in category A during certification at the Passive House Institute in Darmstadt, Germany. Progression has also received several awards at exhibitions and professional competitions. Its advantages, however, are not only in thermal insulation. The outer composite frame can be covered with a façade system, making the window appear frameless from the exterior, thereby becoming very appealing to designers and builders. Inside, it showcases the impressive beauty of natural wood without distracting visible hinges.

For those who appreciate the beauty of wood from the exterior as well, Slavona offers the Inspiro model series. This type is structurally based on Progression windows, but the outer thermowood frame remains visible. The thoughtful design of the Inspiro windows gives ample space for personal imagination. Various color combinations for the interior part of the windows and the outer frame can be variably combined, and it is also possible to choose different types of wood for the interior and exterior.

Regarding luxury design and simultaneously almost zero maintenance requirements, Slavona has developed a model series called Clipper. The Clipper design utilizes overhanging, enamel-coated glass technology, providing perfect protection against the effects of weather. Depending on various areas of application, a range of colors for the enamel-coated glass parts is chosen. There are eight basic color shades of glass available, thus catering to a wide spectrum of architectural solutions – from family homes to commercial buildings. The interior space is again made cozy with natural wood from the window frames and sash.

Wood-aluminum windows also play an indispensable role in the company's product portfolio. Slavona offers them in two variants – HA 110 Line and Alpino. The exterior parts of both types are covered with aluminum profiles. In the HA 110 Line type, the covering consists of a separate frame and a separate sash. The Alpino model's cladding is formed by one aluminum profile that covers both the frame and the sash together. The interior is not deprived of wood, which enhances the pleasant atmosphere of the home. The model series from Slavona is complemented by the frameless glazing Blue Line. This glazing allows maximum illumination of the interior and can be combined with the Inspiro, Clipper, and Alpino windows.

For architecture that prefers a "classic" look for windows, the Solid Comfort model with the designation SC 92 is intended. These windows are structurally based on the classic Euro window but boast several improvements that eliminate the disadvantages of the original design. In Solid Comfort windows, the robust drip cap is replaced partially with wood and partially with two subtle aluminum drip caps. This solution improves thermal insulation properties while simultaneously elevating the aesthetic level of the product. Another undeniable advantage is the narrowing of the visible width of the frame, which positively affects the amount of light that can pass through the window into the interior.

As can be seen, windows from Slavona offer many technical and design solutions, allowing for selection according to specific conditions of the planned construction and the requirements of the designer or builder. Choosing windows may be a bit more complicated than it seems, but the outcome will be worth the effort.
