New Nuki Smart Lock 2.0 with Apple HomeKit support

The company Elektro-System-Technik s.r.o., the exclusive supplier of the Nuki brand, presents the 2nd generation of the Nuki Smart Lock. The new model brings a number of improvements over the first generation. The most significant of these is support for Apple HomeKit. Thanks to the integration with Apple HomeKit, the Nuki Smart Lock 2.0 can be conveniently controlled via Siri. Nuki Smart Lock 2.0 can easily be integrated into a smart home system.



Nuki Smart Lock 2.0 is also compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and IFTTT. With the new motherboard, it will soon be compatible with the popular open wireless protocol ZigBee. Nuki Smart Lock 2.0 has a more powerful processor and Bluetooth 5 interface, ensuring greater connection stability and a significantly greater range (up to 5 times) compared to the first generation. You can now assign the lock up to 200 access permissions. As always, the highest priority is placed on security. This is confirmed by the certificate from the independent institute AV-Test, which declares secure encrypted communication at the level of electronic banking. Just like in the previous generation, we guarantee that the installation of the Nuki Smart Lock will not compromise the security of your doors.

The Nuki Smart Lock 2.0 now also includes a practical door sensor – it informs you whether the entrance doors are open or closed. The Nuki app will warn you if you attempt to lock the doors when they are open. The installation adapter has also been improved, making it compatible with other types of cylinder inserts. Installation is easy and takes less than 3 minutes – and you don’t need screws or a drill!

The Nuki Smart Lock 2.0 is suitable for family homes, apartments, residential buildings, businesses, or holiday homes. The popularity and reliability of the electronic lock is confirmed by the successful collaboration with Airbnb.
