The new collection of Swedish wooden floors Kährs Life combines the beauty and naturalness of wooden coverings with the excellent utility properties of vinyl, particularly its extreme durability and easy maintenance. Unlike conventional wooden floors, the surfaces from the new Kährs Life collection are highly resistant to abrasion, impact, and even moisture, thanks to an innovative lacquer, so they can withstand even the most demanding conditions of home and commercial spaces. Ten wooden decors, eight stained oak, and one each of natural oak and real walnut will cover your floor with fine suede (Light Suede decor) or faded black jeans (Faded Black), spill white coconut cream (Coconut Cream) or sprinkle walnuts (Pure Walnut) or darker cocoa beans (Cocoa Bean).

All decors from the Kährs Life collection, imported to us by KPP, are produced in three formats (1-strip wide 1810 × 150 mm, 1-strip narrow 1225 × 118 mm, and 2-strip 1225 × 193 mm), so you can lay the covering in both larger and smaller spaces in one decor. The surface treatment of the extremely durable matte lacquer allows the floors to be laid in the most heavily used rooms of households, where they withstand the onslaught of pets and children's games without any change in appearance or other signs of damage, as well as in heavily loaded commercial spaces such as hotels and offices.

The new Kährs Life collection combines the best of wood and vinyl

The new line of Swedish wooden floors Kährs Life is the result of over 150 years of experience from a company that has focused on wooden floors since its inception (1857) and the most advanced technologies it works with today. With its exceptional properties, it bridges the gap between high-quality wooden parquet and functional vinyl. The luxurious appearance, beauty, naturalness, and originality of the favored natural material are complemented by extreme durability and longevity. Additionally, there is easy maintenance and quick, straightforward installation thanks to the 5G click connection. At the same time, it offers a more affordable alternative to traditional wooden floors.

Extreme surface durability is ensured by an innovative lacquer

In the category of wooden floors, the products from the Kährs Life line stand out for their truly unprecedented high resistance typical of vinyl floors. This is ensured by a surface finish with an innovative lacquer that protects the wood surface primarily against mechanical damage and moisture. Kährs Life wooden floors are therefore suitable for highly loaded commercial spaces, such as hotel rooms, conference rooms, or offices. "The Kährs Life collection can take quite a beating. Although it's a wooden floor that normally doesn't have a load class specified, during testing, products from this range were tested in the same way as laminate floors and achieved the resistance of load class 33," praises the new product Milan Mrkáček, regional sales manager at Kratochvíl parket profi. The mentioned surface treatment also prevents any moisture from penetrating the structure, so spilled water on the surface does not damage the covering. The durability and lifespan are also evidenced by the 15-year warranty that the manufacturer provides on the products of the new range.

The core of hard HDF board ensures maximum stability

The three-layer wooden coverings of Kährs Life are constructed from a bottom layer of the highest quality wood, an HDF board with a 5G click joint, and again followed by a layer of real wood protected by the aforementioned highly durable lacquer. The core of the new generation hard HDF board ensures increased resistance of the floor to impact, but also stability during temperature and humidity fluctuations indoors. Kährs Life floors can therefore be installed on underfloor heating, as well as near large windows and fireplaces. There is one difference compared to conventional wooden floors: "The top layer of real wood, 0.6 mm thick, cannot be sanded anymore, so renovation is not possible. However, this fact is successfully compensated for by the durable lacquer layer, which significantly extends the unchanged appearance of the surface and the lifespan of the floors in this new range," adds Milan Mrkáček from KPP.

Thanks to easy installation, the Kährs Life line is ideal for renovations and reconstructions

The 5G click connection that Kährs Life floor coverings are equipped with allows for quick and hassle-free installation, further facilitated by the lower weight of individual pieces and practical 1-strip or 2-strip format. Kährs Life coverings also stand out for having a thickness of only 7 mm, making them an ideal choice for renovations. They easily fit the existing doors or thresholds in terms of height without the need to lower the substrate, saving costs on their replacement. Additionally, Kährs Life floors can be laid multiple times and, under certain conditions (especially strength and flatness), can also be installed over an existing floor.
The new line of wooden floors Kährs Life includes elegant decors in the natural finish of oak and walnut (in the case of the Pure Walnut decor) and oak in eight stained decors: from lighter natural tones to gray-brown, gray, and darker shades.

You will be able to view the new collection in KPP showrooms in Prague and Brno after restrictions are lifted; for now, you can at least take advantage of their virtual tour.
