Wineo PURLINE 1500: bio flooring that you can eat

Take rapeseed oil, add some castor oil, sprinkle a pinch of white chalk, mix everything properly, and you have the healthy ecological floor covering Wineo PURLINE 1500. This is the recipe for a floor you can eat from, and even – if we exaggerate – one you could eat. This covering contains only natural raw materials, and maintaining it requires only clean water without detergents or other chemicals.

The Wineo PURLINE 1500 floor contains no chlorine or plasticizers, which means it has zero emissions of volatile substances – making it ideal for healthy living. Furthermore, thanks to the surface finish made from eco polyurethane ecuran, it is highly durable, and therefore suitable for commercial spaces as well. The new collection of Wineo PURLINE 1500 features wood, stone, industrial design, floral patterns, and other ornaments in a wide range of colors, imported as part of its ecological healthy floor program by Kratochvíl parket profi (more at www.kpp.cz).

Elastic, ecological, safe

The bio floor Wineo PURLINE 1500 is permanently elastic and probably the most ecological floor covering on the market. The recognized TÜV PROFiCERT certificate guarantees that there is no smell from this floor – even during its installation. Moreover, Wineo PURLINE 1500 scores points for its extreme durability and wide design diversity. The bio floor Wineo PURLINE 1500 does not feel cold and is pleasant to walk on barefoot; its elasticity saves joints and it has certified slip resistance. It is therefore safe with every step and suitable for wet areas like bathrooms or kitchens. Movement on this covering is completely silent, and it can also be installed on underfloor heating.

Bio floor that lasts longer than Czech highways thanks to ecuran

The basis of the extreme durability of the ecological floor Wineo PURLINE 1500 is the bio polyurethane called ecuran, which is a high-quality composite material primarily made from plant oils, either rapeseed or castor, and naturally occurring mineral components (chalk). It can be said, with some exaggeration, that the bio floor Wineo PURLINE 1500 lasts longer than Czech highways. Even after 25,000 runs with a 500-kilogram load (at a speed of 6 km/h), there was no sign of wear on the floor. This was confirmed by testing conducted by a technical university in Bielefeld, Germany, which recommended the Wineo PURLINE 1500 floors for light industry. For its excellent durability (load class 43) and memory stability (~ 0.05 mm according to EN ISO 24343-1), the composite bio polyurethane ecuran, which forms a 0.3 mm thick wear layer, is positively responsible. So it is not just a mere surface coating like traditional PVC or vinyl, but a full-fledged wear layer.

Closed surface for easy maintenance

Thanks to the ecuran surface treatment, the floor is completely ecological, emission-free, and has a continuous closed surface without sharp edges where dirt could settle. Therefore, maintaining it requires only clean water without chemical cleaning agents. "If you were to look at Wineo PURLINE 1500 with a microscope, you would see that the surface is completely closed, smooth, and there are no edges where dirt could cling, unlike traditional PVC floors or vinyl," confirms Milan Mrkáček, head of regional sales at KPP. "Whereas when you look at traditional PVC or ordinary vinyl under a microscope, you see 'mountains' and 'valleys' where dirt accumulates. When you mop such a floor, you only wipe the tops. However, to remove dirt from the 'valleys', you need to use a cleaning agent that dissolves that dirt," he explains.

Wineo PURLINE 1500 saves up to 30% on cleaning costs

According to the Pfiff Institute for Applied Building Cleaning Technology, the Wineo PURLINE 1500 floor leads to savings of up to 30% in cleaning costs, making it a very economical covering throughout its lifetime. Further tests by this institute also confirm that, for instance, short-term recovery does not leave furniture marks on the covering, confirms the effective disinfectability of the covering, and that contrast agents commonly used in hospitals do not discolor this floor. Wineo PURLINE 1500 can also withstand high heat; according to EN ISO 23999, it exhibits very high dimensional and thermal stability and is also resistant to UV radiation. Particularly in high-traffic areas such as healthcare facilities, supermarkets, schools, airports, and other public buildings, the bio floor Wineo PURLINE appears very durable and economical.

Industrial, wooden, speckled, and floral decor

Wineo PURLINE 1500 is produced in three ways: in rolls, as parquet boards – classic and XL planks (1500 × 250 mm) – and also as large-format tiles (1000 × 500 mm). In the wooden WOOD collections, dozens of options are available – from bleached pine to classic oak and dark coffee walnut – and in the industrial designs of the STONE XL collection, you will find decors ranging from classic marble to copper design. The Chip collection offers single-color coverings or speckled variations (various intensities), from muted shades of beige or gray to vibrant and colorful, such as honey mustard or ruby red. "These decors are often used in commercial spaces as part of PVC products, so the bio floor Wineo PURLINE is an alternative for customers who do not want PVC, perhaps for ecological reasons or for maintenance," says Milan Mrkáček from KPP. The Fusion collection was specifically designed for architects and includes a range of 16 shades of gray from light to dark and warm to pleasantly cool. There is also a more extravagant option with graphic decors Flowers and Ornaments, which are color-coordinated with the Fusion decors.
