Wooden windows have not changed their design for many years, and this is something the Wallachian window and door manufacturer JANOŠÍK OKNA-DVEŘE has decided to change. They are introducing a completely unique collection of RAND 2.0 windows, which sets new trends in modern architecture. Three new window designs have been created by Czech architect Zdeněk Fránek.

The collection builds on the successful RAND windows that the company launched in 2012. RAND 2.0 addresses entirely new dimensions of installing opening windows both from the exterior and the interior. All these elements can be connected with the frameless NOFRAME system, which has also significantly expanded its options. The RAND design also includes panoramic sliding windows with frameless glazing.

Jakub Janošík, who is behind the overall concept of RAND, says that the main point of this collection is not the windows themselves, but two ideas that aim to fundamentally change windows:

Windows don't have to look boring; it's a matter of style...
With the RAND 2.0 collection, we show that windows are not just boring “sixty-eighths” and “ninety-twos.” Windows can help shape the character of each house individually - we are open to new stimuli on how to make this product even more interesting. Do you have an idea? “Never say that something can't be done, because then someone will come along who doesn't know that it can't be done and will do it.”

We don't make windows; we frame the most beautiful pictures...
To allow you to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the surrounding landscape in peace, we directed the development of the new windows towards their maximum integration with the house and the use of frameless glazing. Thanks to this, it is not at all noticeable that there are windows there, and the surrounding nature is right at your home.

Let yourself be enchanted by the design collection of RAND windows with the stamp of the highest quality, based on minimalist lines and subtlety, which together with the frameless NOFRAME windows can emphasize the individuality of the house.

The interior solution of RAND windows offers both installation in the reveal, where even the cubist shapes of the windows emphasize the modern interior. Or flat alignment, where maximum integration of the window with the interior is achieved.

Thanks to the unique integrated wing construction behind the frame, the window can be set into the façade of the house such that even the opening elements display only the surface of the glass. This creates wonderfully clean details on the façade of the house. For exterior installation, Zdeněk Fránek designed a variant where the window surface aligns with the façade seamlessly.

JANOŠÍK OKNA-DVEŘE sets new trends in windows

JANOŠÍK OKNA-DVEŘE has been manufacturing windows and doors since 1926, drawing all innovations in reveal windows from this period. The key aspects of the construction were the subtlety of the sashes and frames and the ability to hide as much of the window as possible behind the façade, which was ultimately achieved completely. This resulted in frameless windows for uninterrupted views.
