Vladimír's bookstore Serius and the civic association PLAC cordially invite you to the 42nd lecture from the series "printed architecture." This time, on Friday, October 13, 2017, at 6:30 PM, we will welcome architect Milota Sidorová in Jablonec. The lecture will focus primarily on the publication "How to Design a Fairly Shared City?" The publication presents 8 simple captivating stories of various heroes who represent different user groups. Two active architects, Sofie and Erik, will guide you through the story of a girl, parents, an elderly woman, an older couple, children, and other visitors of various spaces in the city. The stories highlight everyday situations in which the existing design can be a significant barrier. They also offer solutions on how mindful design can significantly contribute to the quality of urban life without additional costs. This publication is dedicated to architects, urban planners, politicians, anthropologists, and the general public interested in urban planning. We hope that it will provide a deeper understanding of the impact of design on our daily lives. We hope you will also enjoy reading it and share it further. Ing. Milota Sidorová, PhD.
