Rethink Architecture: Carbon Neutral Cities

How to design a carbon-neutral district? How to minimize the impact of construction and renovation on the environment? How to smartly manage energy in cities? Cities occupy only 2% of the Earth's surface, yet they have a huge impact on the environment. They consume 2/3 of all energy globally and are responsible for more than 70% of all CO2 emissions. The next lecture in the series on cities will present options for reducing their carbon footprint during the design, construction, renovation, and operation of cities.
