Rethink Architecture: Water - lecture at CAMP

Buildings and their operation are responsible for a third of greenhouse gas emissions worldwide, and their impact on the planet can no longer be denied. Drought in the Czech Republic is worsening, and according to surveys, 90% of us are afraid of water scarcity. The second lecture in a series on sustainable architecture aims to inspire architects while presenting specific solutions applicable in the Czech Republic that students and architects can easily adopt into their designs. How to retain water in the city and improve the microclimate? How to utilize rainwater and greywater in buildings? Why is every tree important in a project? Specialists who value every drop of water in their projects will discuss these topics.

Zdeněk Fránek – architect, Fránek Architects
Eva Neudertová – green business manager
Peter Bednár – architect and urban planner, Jakub Cigler Architekti
