KAMKAB!NET

As part of the lecture series 'Architect in Practice' intended for second-year MSP students, a lecture by Radim Horák, co-founder of KAMKAB!NET, will take place on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 5:00 PM in room A118 at the Faculty of Architecture, Brno University of Technology, Poříčí 5.

Radim Horák (*1981 Brno) after graduating from the Brno gymnasium Vídeňská (1999), attended the Faculty of Architecture at Brno University of Technology, where he graduated in 2006. He traveled across the USA and completed a study stay at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. Since 2011, he has been leading his own architectural practice with Hana Horáková.

KAMKAB!NET was founded in 2011 by Hana and Radim Horák, who perceive their independent practice as a workshop that combines not just architecture (houses, interiors, public spaces) but also overlaps into art (sculptures, drawings) and the connection to the place (the former emergency workers' colony Kamenná čtvrť), where their studio is located. They approach each project individually, based on the investor's requirements, the scope, and the surrounding inputs. Interdisciplinary communication is important for their work. They offer comprehensive solutions, guiding the client through the construction from the first sketch to its completion.
