Yearbook Czech Architecture 2023-2024 - Call for Submissions of Buildings

Dear colleagues,
I have been invited by Dagmar Vernerová to compile the yearbook of Czech architecture, which will be published in 2025. I would like to ask you to send your completed projects from the years 2023–2024.

These can be new constructions, reconstruction, interiors, public spaces, parks, urbanism, but also sculpture, interesting details, or technical solutions. The number of submitted works from one author or studio is not limited, but the final selection for the yearbook is limited to a maximum of 3 projects. The building can be located in the Czech Republic or abroad, but inclusion in the yearbook is conditioned by having at least one of the authors be a Czech citizen.

Given that I plan to visit the selected buildings in person between June and August/September of this year, please send the following materials by April 15, 2024:
- the title and exact address of the project (if not available, please provide GPS coordinates) and the date of completion
- the name(s) of the author(s), including contact information (current email and phone)
- a short authorial text (max. 1800 characters including spaces)
- 4–5 photos in preview resolution (if the building is still under construction, working photos or visualizations are sufficient)
- site plan and ground floor plan – all only as diagrams, in jpg or pdf format


Please send the materials in one folder labeled with the name of the studio/architect, with subfolders for each project. Please send the files by email to: rocenka@byarchitects.cz
Please limit attachments to 10 MB, all in preview resolution for now. The publisher will request the complete materials for the selected buildings in September and October 2024.
