I am honored to have been invited by the publisher Dagmar Vernerová to compile the yearbook of Czech architecture for 2022. Therefore, I would like to ask you to send me your completed projects from the years 2020–2021. These may include a new building, renovation, interior, public space, park, urban planning, as well as a sculptural object, an interesting detail, or a technical solution, as well as other physical undertakings in the field of architecture, such as an exhibition. There is no limit to the number of works submitted by a single author or studio, but the final selection for the yearbook is limited to a maximum of 3 realizations. The building may be located in the Czech Republic or abroad, but inclusion in the yearbook is conditioned on at least one of the authors having Czech nationality. In addition to your realizations, I would appreciate it if you could also point out the work of any of your colleagues. I will personally visit the selected realizations from May to August.
Please send me the following information and materials: - title and exact address of the realization (for objects in the landscape, please provide GPS coordinates) and date of realization - name of the author(s), including contact information (current email and phone number) - a short authorial text (max. 2000 characters including spaces) - photographs - only in preview resolution (if the construction is still underway, working photographs or visualizations will suffice) - site plans, floor plans, sections, views – everything only as diagrams, in jpg or pdf format
Please send all materials in a single folder labeled with the name of the studio/architect/project title in subfolders. In the subject line of the message, please indicate YEARBOOK 2020. You can send the files via email to rocenka2022@mca-atelier.com. Please keep the file size under 10 MB, which does not need to be sent via a storage service. Everything should be in preview resolution for now. The publisher will request the submission of materials for the buildings selected for publication in September and October 2021.
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely, Doc. Ing.arch. Pavla Melková Ph. D.
