Prague - Prague will have a study on the development of Dvořák's waterfront in Prague 1 processed. The document will address the area from the intersection with Paris Street to Nové Mlýny Street. The study is to be completed by the end of this year. This information was obtained by ČTK from the materials approved by the city council today. The study will be prepared by the Institute of Planning and Development (IPR).
Dvořák's waterfront was damaged by floods in 2002 and 2013. "The technical condition of the construction structures of the roadway has deteriorated to the extent that a complete reconstruction is necessary," the document states.
In the future, the surfaces of the roadway and the networks of technical infrastructure in the area should be reconstructed. As part of the repairs, the city leadership also wants to adjust the entire waterfront area from an architectural perspective.
The overall concept will be developed by IPR, which is expected to complete it by December 31, 2015. According to the document, among others, the Technical Administration of Communications should collaborate with IPR on its creation.
