Prague - The Prague development company Lordship will convert two of the former ČSOB buildings in downtown Prague into luxury hotels. It will offer office spaces for rent in three other buildings. This was reported today by the Euro Online portal, citing the company's marketing manager Jiří Eyberger. The bank sold the buildings in the city center to raise funds for financing its new center in Prague - Radlice. Lordship intends to transform the property on Jindřišská Street into a four-star hotel. According to the portal, it will invest approximately half a billion crowns into the project. The accommodation facility with 152 rooms is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2009. "We are currently selecting a hotel operator," Eyberger told Euro. A hotel in Panská Street is also planned to be completed by the end of March 2009. After reconstruction, the building will offer guests 104 rooms. Lordship wants to rent administrative spaces in the former ČSOB properties on Jungmann, Perlová, and Anglická Streets. "There will be more than 7,500 square meters of office space available, and there are also commercial spaces for rent in the lower parts of the buildings," Eyberger specified. The company will offer underground parking to new tenants. ČSOB completed the sale of its buildings in the city center last January. It received 3.2 billion crowns for ten properties. Lordship acquired seven buildings, including the headquarters on Na Příkopě, in joint ownership with Immoeast, a subsidiary of the Austrian real estate fund Immofinanz. Lordship previously completed the Jungmannova Plaza project in downtown Prague. Looking ahead, the company plans to work on the multifunctional center Holešovický trojúhelník in Prague 7, which it acquired from Real Spektrum. In Slovakia, it plans to renovate the Hotel Kyjev and construct new buildings in downtown Bratislava.
