Kutná Hora - A large-scale reconstruction of the Vlašský dvůr, which houses the municipal office, is continuing in Kutná Hora. The work complicates life for officials and visitors to the town hall. Some floors are not accessible, and the earthworks in front of the building make it difficult for drivers to access the parking lot.

"I have to say that work is being done here even at six or seven in the evening. The entire revitalization, including the park, should be completed by the end of this year," said Mayor Josef Viktora (ANO) to ČTK. Conservationists are currently restoring the interior paintings, while work on new sewage, water supply, and waste systems is underway on the lower floor.

Since last summer, people have encountered workers in helmets in the hallways of the town hall. The extensive renovation of the former mint will cost 123 million crowns. Of this, 89 million will be covered by a European grant from the Integrated Regional Operational Programme. The building is being renovated while remaining operational, and some officials have had to move to temporary offices. There are also plans to make new spaces accessible to the public and to enhance the building's overall appeal.

The Vlašský dvůr is a complex of buildings from the 13th and 14th centuries, and its history is related to rich silver deposits. It is believed to have been named after the Wallachian masters whom the king summoned from Florence.
