Theme of the 10th Biennale in Venice

On August 4, 2005, the curator and the chosen theme of the upcoming jubilee Xth International Architecture Biennale in Venice were announced. The baton was entrusted to the hands of leading expert Richard Burdett (*1956, London), professor of architecture and urban planning at the London School of Economics, who also helps address urban issues for London’s “Red Ken” Livingston, the mayor. The theme will be “The Meta-city: Issues in City Planning”. We will meet again in a year in Venice.
