We invite you to the 14th episode of the series on young Czech architecture, which takes place within the STOLEN GALLERY. Architect and artist Jan Trejbal will present himself, representing the research and communication platform NEOLOCATOR, which focuses on the phenomenon of cultural landscape. Jan Trejbal works with tools at the intersection of field research, rural urbanism, land art, archaeology, and conceptual insight. The exhibition will take place this Thursday, July 11 at 9 PM at the former supermarket Spring in Modřany.
Jan Trejbal He was born in Prague. He spent his childhood and part of his adulthood in Lhota near Kamenice nad Lipou. He graduated from the organic architecture studio led by Miloš Florián, went through the studio of conceptual tendencies of Professor Miloš Šejn at the Prague Academy of Fine Arts, and the School of Architecture of Professor Emil Přikryl. Since 2012, he has been leading a seminar on the Creation of Cultural Landscape at both of these schools. He is the founder and operator of the scientific-research platform Neolokator.cz.
