Closer Architects

We invite you to the 16th episode of the series on young Czech architecture, which takes place within the Prague section of STOLEN GALLERIES, featuring a duo from the studio CLOSER architects.

CLOSER architects was created as a project by two students during their studies at FA ČVUT with the intent of developing a platform for their own projects. Today, the authorship team /Matěj Beránek, Martin Čermák/ enjoys experimenting in the search for shape, space, and function not only in architecture but also in design. The project's relationship to its surroundings, composition, playfulness, and dynamism are the main elements of their creation, as is the principle of being an integral part of the project's and the construction's process. Atypical solutions crafted down to the smallest detail are what they enjoy – due to excessive laziness in seeking anything typical.

ATTENTION CHANGE OF VENUE !!!
The exhibition along with the lecture will take place on Thursday, September 5, 2013, at 21:00 in the UKRAmodule under the Negrelli viaduct (at the corner of Za Poříčskou bránou and Prvního pluku streets).

More information about the exhibitions at UKG can be found on our website. Come and enjoy an evening with architecture in an unconventional exhibition space!
