Given the current spatial context in which the place is located, it does not have the prerequisites to become a fully-fledged public space by itself. It is a non-place. The public does not perceive it and has no relationship with it, even though they pass by it every day. Our aim is to generate interest in this place. Not through an overly optimistic programmatic intervention, which is often considered a determinant of quality public space. We build a wall on the principle of reverse psychology, preventing any perception of the space of the parcel. The wall catalyzes interest and raises questions. (What is different? What was here before?) A few glimpses, like peeking through a keyhole, stimulate human curiosity, interest, and activity. We believe that in these moments, we intersect with the philosophy of reSITE, in the sense of pointing out the problem, looking from a different perspective, and generating public interest, rather than presenting its ideal architectural solution.
