Architect of the Year 2019 and Community Architect 2019 - Invitation to the Announcement

We cordially invite you to the festive ceremony for the award presentation to the laureates of the Architect of the Year 2019 and Architect for the Community 2019 competitions, which will take place on September 10, 2019, at 6 PM at the premises of the Center for Architecture and Urban Planning (CAMP, IPR Prague, Vyšehradská 51, Prague 2).
The award for Architect of the Year 2019 will be presented by last year's laureate Petr Hájek. The event will be hosted by Daniela Písařovicová.
The Architect of the Year award is granted to individuals who have significantly contributed to architecture in the Czech Republic through their approach over the past five years. The Architect of the Year award is organized annually by ABF, a.s., with the aim of highlighting the significance and importance of architecture and its creators for our lives and the cultural development of society, as well as promoting quality and professional and civic engagement in the field of architecture.
Finalists for Architect of the Year 2019: ellement from Zlín (Jitka Ressová, Hana Maršíková, Jan Pavézka), Prague architect Stanislav Fiala, architect and educator Zdeněk Fránek, the Liberec duo Petr Stolín and Alena Mičeková, and Brno architect Petr Všetečka.
An Honorable Mention will also be awarded, as well as the award for Architect for the Community 2019.
