18th annual competition showcase GRAND PRIX ARCHITECTS 2011

The prestigious competitive exhibition of contemporary Czech architecture, Grand Prix Architektů – National Award for Architecture, is organized by the Czech Union of Architects under the patronage of the Mayor of Prague, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry for Regional Development, the Ministry of the Environment, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, and the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic. The project is carried out with financial support from the Ministry of Culture. The co-organizer is the National Gallery in Prague.

The main media partner is the magazine ARCHITEKT.

A TOTAL OF 84 PROJECTS WERE REGISTERED FOR THIS YEAR'S COMPETITION IN SEVEN CATEGORIES:
New Construction - 27 realizations
Reconstruction - 12 realizations
Family House - 14 realizations
Urbanism - 5 realizations
Landscape Architecture and Garden Design - 3 realizations
Architectural Design, Small Architecture, and Artistic Work in Architecture - 13 realizations
Interior - 10 realizations

THE EXPERT JURY WORKED IN THE FOLLOWING COMPOSITION:

The jury awarded the GPA Award 2011 and a total of 11 awards and 6 honorable mentions in individual categories.

The results of the competition will be officially announced on May 10, 2011 at the festive announcement and award ceremony at the Trade Fair Palace in Prague.
Exhibition of submitted works: May 11, 2011 – June 30, 2011, Trade Fair Palace, and then the exhibition will travel around the Czech Republic and subsequently abroad.
