November Talks 2024: Gilles Delalex

Gilles Delalex leads the Parisian architecture studio Muoto, which focuses on architecture, urbanism, design, as well as education and research. Since its inception, the office has realized various projects – from urban plans and public buildings to housing and installations. Gilles graduated from the University of Arts, Design, and Architecture in Helsinki, and he studied in Grenoble, Montreal, Brussels, and Manchester. He serves as a professor at the Paris-Malaquais School of Architecture, where he is the head of the THP (Theory, History, Project) department and one of the directors of the LIAT research laboratory focused on infrastructure. In his lecture, he will present a collection of texts, projects, and images titled Holy Highway, addressing the theme of the highway as the most radical public space.
